Cedar Rapids-based exterior contractor Tri-County Enterprises has acquired the assets of Community Builders Supply Co. in Waterloo. Tri-County will now occupy the building that formerly housed Community Builders.
Community Builders Supply Co. started in 1968 in Waterloo and was incorporated in 1973. The building will now operate as Tri-County’s Waterloo office, with staff and material storage.
“First and foremost, we’re thankful to the Skarlis family for their history in the Cedar Valley and entrusting us to acquire the building. This is our way of carrying on their legacy of craftsmanship. Tri-County has served Waterloo, Cedar Falls and the surrounding area for years, and to now have a physical location increases the level of service and offerings we can provide here. We’re looking forward to bringing even more of the power of Tri-County to the area,” said Tri-County President and Co-Owner Branden Peters.
